Having traveled through 15 cities in 3 months, I’ve amazingly never seen any of them via bike.
And man have I missed out.
Sally and I decided to bike through Valencia on a lazy Sunday afternoon. The streets were quiet, and it was the perfect opportunity to randomly bike wherever our heart led us. It was wonderful in every way. Well, except for the uncomfortable bike seat.
We biked up across the “river” and into Parc de Capçalera. We then trekked our way back across the curved park and back to the hostel. I cannot say this enough: biking is the way to go.
We did have a pit stop, however. Sally tried bubble tea for the first time. I’m slowly trying to convert all the Americans.
Also, I’d like to say that biking and manning a GoPro is very challenging.
All throughout the day, Sally wowed me time and time again. Homegirl is fluent in Spanish now, and I find it thoroughly impressive. It just goes to show that your priorities dictate your accomplishments.
And then just like that, Sally was catching a train back to Barcelona. Having a friend visit from back home was just what I needed … even if it was just for 24 hours.
So great! Boba tea all the way!!!!
Haha I love the candid pics. I hope the rest of your trip goes well 😉
It was wonderful seeing you. I’m so stinking proud of you.
