If Parisian Statues Could Talk

July 29, 2017

So I just really love parks. There’s something about the sound of birds chirping and trickling water, a far off laughter – it blesses my soul. I could sit down with the sun on my face and a book in my hands for hours. So because Paris has practically a million parks, I went on a Parisian Park Appreciation walk.

Along my walk, I noticed this adorable couple. Basically relationship goals. And yes, I am a creeper. But we already knew this, yes?

I was sitting at a bench eating a peach and reading my book when this homeslice decided to sit right behind me. Mind you, there were at least 20 open benches. Do people not know personal space in Paris??

During my long walk is when I noticed that a lot of statues look completely ridiculous. Like, exactly what is happening with these statues?? Maybe I’ve been a solo traveler for too long, but I couldn’t help but give them backgrounds and voices. So below are just a few that cracked me up. Be sure to check out the photo comments 😉

And below is my personal favorite. Write in the comments what you think they’re saying!

That homeslice probably doesn’t know that your American. (Lol!) I think it is American thing to have personal space. (at least 3 feet…!). When I went to Latin America for the first time, the people were talking to me in very close proximity. I felt so strange! (at least 3 feet please…!)

First pic: “Girl get off. I need my space…” “Baby, I miss you…”
Second pic: “My left boob hurts right now…”
Third pic: “To be or not to be…”
Fourth pic: Your Wifi line is too funny! Can’t top that!
    Fifth pic: “I’m the boss…suck my d***”
