It’s the big reveal! Ta-daaaaa! Bryce is baaaaack!
Many of you might remember Bryce from my travels through Bruges, Berlin, Prague, and Valencia.
Through our months of knowing each other, we just clicked. So before I headed off to the other side of the world for the rest of my trip, we decided to grab cheap flights to Dublin and travel up to Northern Ireland for the week.
I was planning on being at the airport first thing in the morning for his arrival, but he showed up 1 and 1/2 hours earlier than expected, and I slept through it. Whoops. But I was able to quickly get ready (since I still didn’t have toiletries) and meet him at the airport.
We waited around for my backpack to arrive from the first flight from Frankfurt, but the flight kept getting delayed. Finally at 12:15pm, I was in possession of my backpack. And toothbrush. All was right in the world.
Since Bryce and I both have been to Dublin together separately this past summer, we had a fun time walking around and telling stories of our time there. We pointed out, “Oh, I ate there! Good sushi” or “Down that street was my hostel I stayed in!” Nostalgia is so much fun when you can share it with someone who appreciates it.
Being true to Ireland form, it was pretty cold and drizzly. We found a nice, warm pub to eat roast beef and mashed potatoes. I would show you a picture, but … I ate it before snapping a good shot. So …
