Buying Ice Cream and Aloe Vera

January 15, 2018

If you’re ever looking to vacation in Australia, might I suggest visiting Noosa? Cause it’s really beautiful.

Noosa

Like really beautiful.

Being from halfway around the world (you know, that place called America), I only hear about the main spots in Australia. Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns… etc. It’s kind of like an Australian only knowing about New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, etc.

I’m super grateful to all of the Aussies who insisted I go to Noosa – because dang. I’m so glad I’m here.

The Brazilians and I woke up, packed up our lunch, and headed out to walk the Noosa National Park. By the time we finally made it to the car park, it was 11am… and completely packed. We couldn’t find a single parking spot (which isn’t saying much because the car park was tiny). So after circling around the lot for a while, we gave up. We figured we’d try again tomorrow morning and instead headed to the beach.

I love the beach. Can you tell that by now? I’ve been to the beach every day for almost two weeks straight. And Sydney was pretty frequent as well. Can’t stop, won’t stop.

I also got to go out surfing! Surfing always makes me so happy. I don’t know what I’m going to do when I’m landlocked back in Dallas. Besides cry for the ocean.

After several hours in the sun, we took a break for some much-needed ice cream. But in my opinion, ice cream is always needed.

We then changed beaches and stayed there for another couple of hours. And regardless of my valiant efforts of reapplying sunscreen and covering with a sarong, I still got a little pink. Nothing aloe vera can’t sort out.

Overall, another CoverGirl day — easy, breezy, beautiful 😉
