Taking the Great Montenegro Tour with 360 Monte

Great Montenegro Tour | 360 Monte

When I arrived into Kotor, I knew one thing immediately: “Meagan, you’re gonna need to see as much of Montenegro as possible.” I was stunned by the natural beauty of this country, and I knew that I wanted to experience more before I left.

After having traveled to countless cities by this point, I’ve found that it’s immensely convenient to find tour companies that will do all of the grunt work for you. I don’t want to spend hours researching and coordinating the logistics. I just want to enjoy Montenegro.

And that’s why I signed up with 360 Monte travel agency.

I decided on The Great Montenegro Tour – close to a 12-hour day tour that would take me to mountain peaks and boat rides. I was all about that.

We started the morning with beautiful views of the Bay of Kotor and Budva Bay. We then proceeded to a small village where we had prosciutto for breakfast. I mean, not a bad way to start the day.

After our bellies were full, we headed towards the National Park of Lovćen.

Fun fact – it’s here that you’ll find the highest mausoleum in the world. Kind of random, but there ya go. But it’s also at the top of this peak that you’ll find some of the most jaw-dropping views in all of Montenegro. This is a must if you come here.

We continued on with visiting more small towns, eating more food, and taking more photos. Fall is in full swing here, and I am loving it.

Towards the end of the trip, we had a boat ride down the Crnojević River and had a walking tour of Budva (casually claimed as the “Miami of Montenegro”).

Overall, this tour exceeded all high expectations that I had. It was educational, but it was also entertaining and fun. My tour guide Helena was a wealth of knowledge who also had a sharp wit. I appreciated both. I highly recommend signing up – the views are worth everything.

I was received by 360 Monte as a guest. My opinion, however, is my own.
